Products
Below are some common questions about our products
Yes! Please see the Care Guide Tab usually found on most items and often in the descriptions as well. We strive for quality materials to touch your skin. With any statement piece the best longevity is with either dry cleaning (not necessary after every single use) or what we like to do with our clothing out of old habit is always COLD 40-30 degrees-GENTLE/ DELICATE- HANG DRY or GENTLE DRY AND STEAM INSIDE OUT. But, there are short cuts and if they are listed you're good. As tallies, we have always feared dryers but you don't have to now but most definitely choose the wiser option of not washing with jeans and towels that beat up your clothes..
Yes, low heat and inside out. The cotton is pre-shrunk. Personally, I like to steam everything to preserve its integrity especially with any embroidery that always makes an outfit look so rich.
Great question and you are not alone in feeling lost in the world of corrupt size charts. Lets start with every Brand is different. Why? because they use multiple manufacturers. These manufactures deal with multiple brands so therefore you are left with no choice to squeeze into what size they deem you to be based on average sized women around the world which is (drum roll) 5'3". If you are 5'11 and above with long legs- what looks to be pooling on the floor for pants is actually on a small showroom model. We designed our size charts (even if there are multiple manufacturers) using hard numbers aka: measurements. So key. Please grab a tape measurer and follow along with the video located....... then match them to the size charts. This way you are assured your perfect fit!
Q: You carry 38" and I am only 34" inseam. Will you be carrying shorter inseams?
A: I would absolutely love to be able to do that. All our lives we have found that seamstress or Grandma if we were lucky to un-hem every morsel of material on the pants or jeans we ever owned. Remember that? Well, the hemming is in revers now and not a bad problem to have! I still have my fav nearby. at 6'2 I am a 34" inseam and my samples and final productions are all 38" because everyone has their own desired length depending on the shoes they wear most often, I felt that having a seamstress hem up to your preferred length was the best route. I do however carry Loverlet jeans that are 34" in length inseam but really fall to a 35."
Unfortunately we do our best to negotiate pricing based on quality of labor (sewing expertise), Lead designer (listens and cares for fits on tall women), Sourcing (cost of goods and materials that are quality- not flimsy) Material for items made of cotton (the are pre-shrunk) Shipping costs from over seas. All items are small batch produced. None of Paryse Style Clothing is manufactured in China. Not a fan of their labor practices and have chosen smaller factories that I have visited in person overseas to make sure the workers are happy, the working conditions are safe and that air conditioning is flowing. I find my clothes have that happy vibe when I know employees are treated well. I saw plenty of warmth and smiles when I visited...or was it sheer fear when they saw my height:-)?
Everyone is allowed to make money and if influencers choose to showcase "finds" for a commission-God belss them and their work ethic to hustle. Can't knock that. I cannot yay or nay a product unless I have tested its fit and quality first hand. It's like reading the fine print on anything. Is that influencer as tall as you and their body type? Are the pants or maxi dresses long enough for your personal inseam or is the the influencer long torso'd and shorter legs where a 32" long inseam may serve them well? I always prefer to read a size chart and decide based on my personal measurements and when size charts are vague or hard to find the inseams...it is defiantly a hard pass for me. I have been burned too often.
